Obsessive-compulsive disorder affects roughly 1 to 3 percent of people, is frequently missed in general practice, and responds to treatments that differ in important ways from standard anxiety care. This self-paced course orients licensed behavioral-health clinicians to the evidence-based treatment of OCD by having them work through a treatment support program from the inside. A clinician orientation introduces the model and core concepts, and participants then move through the full patient course (psychoeducation cards, structured exercises, in-the-moment tools, audio, and a video series with the presenter) the way a patient would. The program covers exposure and response prevention (ERP) through an inhibitory-learning lens, inference-based cognitive behavioral therapy (I-CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and OCD-specific medication strategy. By experiencing the program the way patients do, participants finish able to recognize OCD's common and covert presentations, explain and apply the core mechanism of each therapy, describe how OCD medication strategy differs from standard antidepressant dosing, and guide patients through structured self-help between sessions.
Note for registrants: Completing this course makes you eligible for an optional listing in the Conicia directory, where patients can find clinicians who use Conicia and clinicians can find experienced peers for case consultation. Your 12-month listing window opens at directory launch (likely late 2026), or at completion of the course if it's already live. It stays active for as long as you have two or more clients using the tool within the past 6 months at any given time. A listing reflects course completion only. Conicia doesn't vet, rank, or endorse clinicians, and doesn't guarantee patients or referrals.
Using Conicia with your own patients is free for you, and each patient pays for their own access to the program. This course is a one-time fee for your CE training and credit, and that's the only thing you pay for. The platform itself carries no clinician cost to use.
